Missouri Botanical Garden Internship (Random Work)
Seen here is a collection of works from my internship at Missouri Botanical Garden. They are not a large collection of similar works, but are the results of random tasks that were asked of me.
Shown here is a coupon for $1 Off General Admission for the Missouri Botanical Garden. This coupon was meant to be usable all year. As such my colleagues asked that I match the design with a the design aesthetic for Missouri Botanical Garden's Chinese Lantern Festival due to premiere in the Summer of 2012. It was interesting creating a design piece based similar to the aesthetic of another designer.
Seen here is a coupon meant to be displayed with the previous piece. It is for the Butterfly House an affiliate of the Missouri Botanical Garden. The aesthetic was meant to compliment the previous coupon with an warm color palette.
Shown here is a informational sign explaining a base isolation system used in  some of the buildings owned by Missouri Botanical Garden. I created the illustration using Photoshop, matching the aesthetic, and colors to similar signs placed around the garden.
Seen here is a  coupon for The Little Shop Around The Corner a store affiliated with the Missouri Botanical Garden. The large white space in the middle is meant to be used with an accompanying Word document to address the coupon to different groups.
Seen here is a rack card for various holiday events at the Missouri Botanical Garden. It was displayed below a poster for Saturdays With Santa the first event of the holiday season. Guests who wanted to know more about other events could pick up the rack card at the event.
The back of the holiday rack card. It displays the schedule for the event Saturdays With Santa as that was the main holiday event for Missouri Botanical Garden.
